A one-day course designed to help you gain a better understanding of the underlying concepts and the benefits of the BATCHES simulator.
In the morning, a detailed overview of the basic building blocks and the simulation methodology is provided. The afternoon is devoted to a hands-on session where you will exercise the "what if..."s using an existing model to solve the given problem.
The dates for the introductory course are:
February 12, 2007
May 14, 2007
August 13, 2007
November 12, 2007
A two-day training course designed to train the participants to be an end-user of BATCHES. After this training course, you will be able to build BATCHES simulation models of your processes.
The participants will learn how to build BATCHES simulation models. The interpretation and analysis of the simulation results, and the significance of the important parameters that describe a model will be discussed. The use of the simulator to analyze such diverse applications as design, scheduling, retrofitting, answering `what if...' questions will be featured. On the last day, you will build a complete model of a process of your interest.
The dates for Training Course I are:
February 13-14, 2007
May 15-16, 2007
